Why the Policy exists

The purpose of GDPR is to protect the customers rights to ensure that their personal data is protected and not processed without their knowledge and that it is processed with their consent.

We collect personal data from our customers, as it helps us to identify you as an individual, that does not include anonymised data and contact you directly from time to time.

Contact data may include your telephone number, delivery/postal and email addresses.

Financial Data may include payment card details – but we do not store this information. 

Profile Datamay include purchases or orders made with us.

We do not hold any sensitive information about you such as ethnicity, religious beliefs, political opinions, information about your health, sexual orientation, trade union membership.

Firstly we will ask you to provide us with a relevant contact detail in order to maintain a relationship with us. We collect data through a variety of methods, such as:

* Providing data by filling in forms at our studio or on location, from communicating to us directly by phone, email or via our website.  

* Requesting purchases, placing an order. 

* Participating in a competitions.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
